Long Bay Beach Resort

Loved it

Pros: The location and general vibe were gorgeous. Complimentary Sunday yoga and Monday tennis lesson were a bonus.

Cons: Some of the staff lacked customer face to face (rather looking at their phones) but others like Michael and Dejean were charming

Pros: Very nice rooms and food was good. Gym was large and well equipped.

Cons: Pool area was not that inviting and did not have a lot of shade options. Beach by the hotel was very difficult for swimming due to rocks.

Lovely venue, very comfortable, nice pool, lovely beach and sun beds but just fell short on service

Pros: Lovely location for breakfast but service a little slow and some staff seamed happier in their work than others.

Cons: While some staff were lovely others seamed less than happy in their work.

Lovely hotel in great location but not cheap!

Pros: Great location on lovely beach for walking but bit rough for swimming but could walk to smugglers cove that was perfect for swim. Ideal location if coming by boat to west end

Cons: Quite expensive for just a room

Wonderful Beach

Pros: Astonishing and superb location on one of the most marvelous beaches in the carribean. Large and well decorated villas, calm and well equipped The Sushi Restaurant is a real gem - excellent food

Cons: The restaurant staff seems to be uncoordinated and slow (even with island time included) No wine glasses in room

Very high end beach hotel in beautiful surroundings

Pros: Beautiful beach position. Extremely well maintained..beautiful gardens. Lovely pools. Rooms were fantastic, high quality bedding,large bathroom and bedroom with sofa looking out to the beach. Direct beach access. Good gym and pickleball and tennis courts with tuition available. Good restaurant and bar.

Cons: VERY EXPENSIVE, especially when service and taxes added on

Beautiful views; quiet, intimate, little resort

Pros: We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our island vacation. I booked a beachfront walkout room and it was incredible. The views are stupendous, and the resort was clean and grounds kempt. We loved the large private patio, easy access to the beach, and close proximity to the bar/restaurant. The pool is across the street hillside, but was still easy to find and the bartender was friendly. Staff was helpful and polite. I recommend taking advantage of morning yoga if it’s available on a morning you are there. We had very windy days so the waves were large, and couldn’t swim or kayak. However we did stroll down to the far east end of the beach and could walk out fairly far into the waves because there were no rocks at that end of the beach. The water is shallow, so boogie-boarding was great. Food at the restaurant is yummy, we especially loved the chicken wings and the blueberry pancakes! Overall a perfectly relaxing stay at this little gem of a resort.

Cons: At no fault to the resort, it is a bit tricky to get to. Make sure you are timing your taxi, and ferry rides with your flights on another island. While it does take some effort to get to, it’s well worth it in the end.

This is paradise!

Pros: We liked it all! The location right on a beautiful white sandy beach. Waking up to a view of paradise. The lovely decorated beach house. A rain shower with sufficient water pressure. The delicious food at the restaurant. The treatments at the newly opened spa. The sweetest hotel cat that spent the night on our bed. It was all amazing and we hope to return!

Cons: There is nothing to dislike.

Beautiful and relaxing stay on pristine beach with gracious staff.

Pros: Location is stellar, right on the pristine beach. Staff were incredibly friendly and wonderfully attentive, and went out of their way to cater to our every need. Rooms were recently redone and well appointed. Ground floor suite opened right up onto the beach and the location / spot was amazing. Restaurant was very good, especially for the Caribbean. We travel a lot and can say that this resort and the staff far exceeded our expectations. Intimate place, friendly staff, and top location on the beach.

Cons: We did not like that the hotel allowed day guests from cruise ships. They brought a different vibe, took up space at the bar as well as lounge chairs. Changed the mood of the place when they were there. Also did not appreciate that the pool was not open for our stay. That should have been better communicated.

Worth a visit!

Pros: The amenities of the resort were really nice, tennis-pickleball-pools-beachside chairs-bar-rooms-beach-taxi service-spa-gym. I think the best around. The location was great. The chartered catamaran was terrific!

Cons: The restaurants were ok. Sometimes the staff was nice and other times they were not very friendly. The food takes forever to come out of the kitchen. It was good and hot but just not timely. Many items on the menu weren't available.
