Pros: Has that rustic Caribbean charm. The room ‘Rose’ was clean and very comfortable. The staff are fantastic, caring , friendly and extremely helpful. The staff certainly make the stay. The bar and restaurant are lovely and the food I had very nice. Thank you.

Cons: I think anything that is not to be liked can be rectified with good planning and research. I arrived late on New Year’s Eve and could have organised my arrival better.

Quiet and Romantic Stay

Pros: We stayed in the Hibiscus room and loved it, it is spacious and private. The window is basically the entire width of the room, facing the sea over the room's balcony. So there is nobody and nothing opposite the room, just the sea, beautiful. We left the balcony door open at night, listening to the sound of the waves while falling asleep. Calling the reception via the phone in the room worked well and the response was quick. There are various other restaurants in walking distance but the beach is not really usable here, so for this you will need a car. Just 12 car minutes away is the beautiful Smugglers Cove beach with 2 cozy beach bars.

Cons: It is about a 2 minute walk to the breakfast restaurant and to the reception. The walk is on a road with frequent traffic. There is very narrow space for parking and it was difficult to turn the car around to leave the parking.

Happy to visit again

Pros: Nice beach area. I had a first floor beach view room which was lovely. Good coffee machine in the room. Bar had good range of drinks and food. The hotel shop sold beer at dirt cheap prices.

Our second stay . If we return to BVI , we will definitely check in again.

Pros: Location exceptional. Xmas Eve entertainment great. Nikki who was our waitress for the evening was brilliant.

Cons: Lighting in the room. Aircon too cool and hard to change.

Would do it again

Pros: The staff was very kind, check in and check out was a breeze.

Fun and chilled

Pros: Great place to go, easy atmosphere and lovely beach infront. We walked up the hill and over for cocktails at 1748 and dinner at tropical fusion bar and grill and it was a great change of pace

My happy place!

Pros: The staff are friendly, the location is excellent, it’s comfortable, you feel looked after, the restaurant has the most lovely views of the sunset.

Cons: The rooms in the tropical garden part are a little small but fine for 2 people.

Friendly hotel in a stunning location

Pros: Friendliness of the staff - they could not do enough for us Location is beautiful - because of the onshore weather and waves the hotel arranged a taxi to take us to and from the sandy beach at Smugglers Cove Restaurant had a nice range of meals and cocktails

Cons: Quite expensive
